After working in New York, he moved to Brussels in 2008 to take part in the Research Cycle at P.A.R.T.S. As a performer, he has worked with artists including Miguel Gutierrez and Big Art Group. He was also an artist-in-residence at Movement Research in 2007–2008. His early work in New York focused on text-driven dance performances, often in collaboration with Michael Helland.
His solo Not About Everything (2007) has been performed in more than 75 theatres worldwide. Subsequent works include Montage for Three (2009), Being Together Without Any Voice (2010), and The Karaoke Dialogues (2014). Alongside his stage work, he has developed projects such as the book A No Can Make Space (2013) and Vita Activa, a workshop exploring time and labour.
He was associate artist at deSingel in Antwerp (2012–2014) and a New Wave Associate at Sadler’s Wells in London. In 2015, he founded his company Hiatus, presenting Un Sacre du Printemps and dbddbb the same year. More recent works include Listen Here: These Woods & This Cavern (2021), Kiss The One We Are (2023), and The Wonder Of It All (2025).
